Yoshihide Suga

Yoshihide Suga served as Prime Minister of Japan (2020–2021) after a long career in the government, including as Chief Cabinet Secretary. He advocated digital reforms, administrative reform, and continuity of Abe-era economic policies. His tenure was short but significant in pushing forward bureaucratic modernization and preparing the government for post-pandemic recovery.
