Helle Thorning-Schmidt

Helle Thorning-Schmidt (b.1966) served as Prime Minister of Denmark (2011–2015) and later held international leadership roles. Trained in political science and European studies, her government focused on labour-market reforms, social policy and international engagement; she is a prominent centre-left figure with a record in both national politics and international organisations.
