Giorgia Meloni

Giorgia Meloni (b.1977) is the leader of Brothers of Italy (Fratelli d'Italia) and became Italy’s Prime Minister in October 2022. Her government combines conservative social policies, a nationalist outlook on migration and an emphasis on pro-family and security measures; at the same time Meloni has worked to steady Italy’s EU relations and manage economic and energy pressures in a turbulent international context.
