Amama Mbabazi (b.1949) is a lawyer and politician who served as Prime Minister (2011–2014) and in multiple senior cabinet roles. A founding member of the post-1986 political order, he later broke with the ruling party and ran for president; his career is that of an experienced technocrat and senior statesman.
