Aidarus al-Zoubaidi

Aidarus al-Zoubaidi (b.1967) is leader of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and former governor of Aden. A prominent southern separatist politician, he heads the STC which governs parts of southern Yemen and has had periodic clashes and negotiations with the internationally recognised government; his politics reflect southern regionalism and separatist aims.
